18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Fossil Creek Pano
I wanted to capture a less than familiar photograph of a well known and frequented site, Fossil Creek, in northern AZ. I bushwhacked through thick overgrown brush and teetered on a precarious rock with my tripod to capture the beautiful flow of the water whisking through the stream of these small far away obscure falls.
