13th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest The American Experience
Fourth Of July!
I was returning home from a July 4th celebration with friends and family near Gettysburg, PA . Since it was a long ride back to my home in New Jersey we planned an overnight in Lancaster County, PA. A visit which encompassed the small town of Lititz, apply named "America's coolest small town". I took this photo of a field of American Flags, positioned in row after row at one of the local church yards. Heart Warming Indeed!
