The artwork “Fractals of Love” was created by photographing an image of my baby through a kaleidoscope with multiple glass facets. The lens fragmented the photo into surreal shapes, multiplying eyes, noses, and mouths into hypnotic, ever-repeating patterns. This visual duplication mirrors the emotional intensity of early motherhood where every moment is saturated with tenderness, love, exhaustion, and the quiet loss of self. The work explores how daily life becomes a fractal of care, overwhelming and infinite, yet deeply beautiful.
