While cleaning up my backyard, I saw this little guy hanging out on a cover for my patio furniture. This was the only photo that turned out well. While the sex of the spider is unknown, we call him Fred. Fred has turned into somewhat of an ambassador for those people with arachnophobia. People who hate spiders seem to love Fred, some have even printed Fred for their office, despite their irrational fear of spiders. Fred is no longer with us, but his memory lives on.
