Free To Be A Maverick

I was sitting with a group of friends at a park and kept watching this young cowboy. As he stood looking at this memorial, I saw the image unfold . . . Cowboys are reckless and carefree and this memorial represents those who had little choice in freedom. The young boy's body language and cowboy attire contrasts with the soldier's stance and uniform. Freedom here is represented by youth and the boy's choice to be somewhat of a maverick. He seems to be looking at the fallen soldier's memorial and contemplating that liberty.
