"Freedom" ~ During our visit to Washington, D.C., we enjoyed a lovely sunset near the base of the Washington Monument. A warm, gentle breeze set the American flags flapping while silhouettes of carefree visitors glided kites overhead. The scene and experience evoked deep feelings of freedom and gratitude.
