I stayed at an unusual Bed and Breakfast in Seattle where the owner was a chef and used his kitchen for a cooking school. In his backyard he had chickens and would bring in fresh eggs for omelets and other culinary delights. Eggs are traditional for an American breakfast but they are also a traditional subjects for photographers.
