Freshly sliced avocado

I've always wanted to take a picture of an avocado. But I always end up with either too ripe or raw. I've always pictured my avocado to be similar to those I see on cookbooks and food gallery. Perfect. Immaculate. Delicious. But as I was slicing that avocado, I just had the impulse to just forget about the status quo and just capture what I had. And so I did. When I edited that on VSCO, I pictured those life-like paintings of fruits and I wanted mine to look the same. I'm happy with the outcome :)
