Last year the fires out West were particularly devastating and destructive. Thousands of brave firefighters worked tirelessly for months under grueling conditions. They used massive amounts of fire retardant, seen here in a reddish color, which helped stop the spread of the raging fires. This aerial image was taken while flying my plane.
