Frozen Castle
A stunning April morning found me at a remote alpine lake where I had this view all to myself. An overnight snowfall dusted the pine trees in 6 inches of white powder that almost looked painted - as if an artist had colored each branch individually. This picture-perfect landscape was only amplified by the still reflection in the water that gave me goosebumps just looking at it. I danced around trying to stay warm as I waited for the sun to rise, standing knee-high in snow.
