Here in this photograph a seabird flies close to the water skimming its surface. In Antarctica it is impossible to capture the scale of this vast landscape. I found myself attempting to show people just how large the ice and mountains are down there. I felt if I could show a few images of wildlife amongst the ice maybe it would do the trick. In my eyes it still doesn't to the scale justice but I enjoy the image none the less.
