A brief break in rough winter weather allowed an opportunity to capture this colorful bay in Vareid, Lofoten. The village of Vareid is located near the southern end of the Lofoten archipelago on the island of Flakstadøya, Norway. Flakstadøya has rich history and biodiversity, with commercial fishing dominating the local economy since around 1100AD.
