It was a full moon night when I was in Joshua Tree National Park on Oct 03, 2017. I was traveling with my son & daughter to across America from Hershey PA to Los Angels CA. I sent my daughter to her new home in LA, we stopped in Joshua Tree NP for enjoying this beautiful area. For a Chinese, the night (lunar calendar - August 15) was also a traditional holiday - Mid-Autumn Festival or Moon-Cake Festival. All of three sat in the car and ate moon cake & dinner to celebrate this Chinese Holiday in a National Park, a great experience for my family.
