Gajan is a Hindu folk festival celebrated mostly in the Indian state of West Bengal.Gajan spans around a week, Hindus celebrate the festival mainly on the last two days of the month of Chaitra, just before Bengali New Year. The festival is actually linked to agricultural community.They pray for the rains and better harvest.
