Galaxy through an Iris
I was trying to photograph the beauty of this iris bulb in my garden. I attempted this photo 5 separate times over a 2 week span taking over 200 pictures. Before the last attempt, I had to say goodbye to my doggy of 15 years. The morning after he passed, I went out again to try to get this shot. The very first picture I took was this one. This photograph is dedicated to my Teddy Bear, the one who showed me the universe through his eyes.
