Game of Yezidi skill amidst handprint markings on the wall made wishes come true, Lalish Temple
Lalish Temple, home of the Yezidi religion in Iraq, welcomed shoeless visitors to the dark temple. The walls displayed hand and foot print markings. A wishing rock stood out in a cave. A man tossed a colored cloth to the top of the rock. Tossed cloths stuck at the top would make wishes come true.
