On the Titicaca Lake in Peru, the Uros indigenous community, who lives on over ninety floating islands, set up a sports field divided in two areas: one for the young women who play volleyball and one for the young men who play football. I was visiting the islands when Ivan, the tourists' guide, showed us the sports field, where two matches were taking place before the night fell over the lake.
