Gathering of ijtema

It is known as bishwa Ijtema. It is celebrated only in Bangladesh. It is held in January or February every year. There are millions from different countries. People gather only to worship Allah. People stay and worship there for 3 days. Colorful curtains are called Samiana. Under these people arrange accommodation. This is where everyone's eating and drinking is done. It is held in a huge arena called Ijtema Maidan. People bring all the daily things with them. Everyone is busy in the worship of Allah. These people come from within the country in various ways like buses, trucks, vans, trains, boats, trawlers, etc. Foreigners come as they do. Ijtema ends with the final prayer.
