I was attending Genna, the Ethiopian orthodox christmas, that takes place on the 7th of January (referring to the Julian calendar that is still used in Ethiopia), but starts weeks before. One of the most important holy masses is the midnight mass at Bet Emanuel church, the biggest of the churches of the old group as well as UNESCO World Heritage site.
