During an autumn visit to Denmark's second city, Aarhus, I discovered that dawn arrives late at this latitude. It's clarity, however, compensated for its tardiness. The sight of this transparent dome floating in the midst of a waterlogged dockside transformed what was in effect a building site into an eerie lunar landscape.
