16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Gerringong, NSW Australia. Wind Swept Ancient Coast

I took this Photo with my Drone so I could see this small part of the Australian East Coast which was formed by extinct volcanoes in the region, It shows the weathering effects over time and the trees in the lower right section of the photo on the cliff show just how powerful the winds get here on a regular basis. I feel this photo shows she beauty of my region but also gives a glimps to how hostile it can become.
