Some paintings of Mark Rothko seem to glow so how to capture that in a photo was my dilemma as I toured the exhibition in Paris. When the silhouetted figure got close to one of those glowing paintings, the contrast between light and dark was worth a shot so I snapped the unknown person admiring the painting.
