Ginkgo Trees in Fall

According to Kew Garden: "The Ginkgo tree is the sole survivor of an ancient group of trees that date back to before dinosaurs roamed the Earth (– creatures that lived between 245 and 66 million years ago)." I am very much impressed that Ginkgo survived for that long time! Ginkgo trees are everywhere in Seoul, Korea. In Fall, the yellow fan shaped leaves fall and piled up along the street and people like to gather the Ginkgo fruits, which female Ginkgo produced for the season. The old Ginkgo trees in the photo seem to be enjoying beautiful blue sky and being playful. The colors of the leaves are all different from green to yellow, the shapes and size are all different, some leaves make circular form, and red maple trees add colors to the scene.
