In a small village near Namungalwe in Uganda, village residents convene for a health fair. Here, village residents are able to receive medical services usually unavailable to them, including testing for malaria, HIV, and other STI’s. It truly amazed me how warm the people I met in Uganda were and how open they were to being photographed, which I believe can be seen in this girl’s expression as she gazes confidently into the lens.
