19th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
faceless girl

When she stood up there I started explaining to her how to pose. After a few tries, we had a perfect one. But after taking a second look at the photos I saw this one where her hand is not focused. At first I thought that this photo is not good because of the moving hand. But after looking at it I saw it even better than the “perfect” one. It’s like - perfectly imperfect. I’ve always liked to have movement in my photos but sometimes I just need more time to realise it. And my favourite part is that you can’t see her face so that gives everyone a different perspective to imagine the way she looks the way they want to. Everyone has different thought on Beauty. So this photo is giving everyone’s imagination free space for use.
