Girl in the doorway
While on a small boat expedition journey we stopped at Kokas, a small sparsely populated and very remote island in Indonesia. The village, rarely visited by outsiders warmly accepted us. I captured this girl sitting in her doorway totally unphased by the outsiders passing by her house. I loved the expressionless look she gave me. As a side note, the village was composed of Christians, muslims and Buddhists (Chinese) all living in total harmony. Everyware we looked children of all 3 faiths were playing and laughing together while parents of all three faiths happily watched.
