Girl on a train
While I was leading a photography workshop in India last spring, my group and I were stranded at the local train station. Our train was over five hours late. I decided to spend the time photographing the passing trains, rather then waiting and getting bored. I quickly realized how interesting it was to observe the varied humanity traveling on these trains, and I decided that I wanted to convey the sense of movement as well as the amazing people traveling. So, I started photographing with slow shutter speeds waiting for the perfect moment.
