While in Iceland, we decided to do a day trip to visit Glacier Lagoon. It was around a 5 hour drive from where we were staying, and the drive was very worth it. Glacier Lagoon was beautiful to see and photograph and there was also lots of wildlife around. The lagoon itself was very large -- there are kayaks in the background for scale.
