Yosemite National Park is one of the most beautiful of all the national parks. When you are there you are "in" the park because you are surrounded by 2000 feet high rocks on all sides of the valley. In spring the waterfalls are spectacular and gushing from the thaw of the winter snow in the upper regions. A paved road leads up to a special view of the valley - Glacier Point. Looking east, the sunsets emphasize the beauty of Half Dome.
