I was on a trip to Tianmu Mountain Nature Reserve with friends in June, just the mating season of Luciola anceyi Olivier. I am expecting them but not very sure, so I waited on a small road facing a beautiful valley before dark. I was lucky the valley was glowing with fireflies soon after dark.
