Goddess Kali
Dasara is considered to be an auspicious festival in Tamilnadu, India. This vibrant festival is celebrated throughout the state in its traditional splendor. As per the ritual the devotees paint their bodies and dress as different avatars of Hindu mythology. Traditionally they use to beg in the town and the collected fund is presented as an offering to Goddess, Sri Mutharamman. The visual delight of the Kali Avatar is something unique to experience. Millions of enthusiastic people attend this festival.
