Gods of Angkor Wat

6 AM in Angkor, a bust of meditating King Jayavarman II, one of the many jewels of Khmer art of sculpture preserved in the temples of Angkor. Unfortunately, priceless antiquities from Angkor have become a target of regular looting: bells, drums, bracelets, bronze statuettes, ritual objects, wooden statues … and so the list of missing antiques goes on. Sad that what took centuries to create can be destroyed so easily and quickly.
