Going West
Traveling by car through West Texas in early January, all seemed so dormant. I pulled to the side of the road and took a photo of a freight rain so far in the distance that it can hardly be seen. Its sound was coming, but knowing it would not stop and that it carried freight and no passengers, accentuated the feeling of isolation in the west. A B&W seemed appropriate. But a touch of sepia gave it a sadder look, I think.
