Golden Dunes
The Sahara Desert in Morocco boasts some of the world's most impressive sand dunes. During the day, these are a standard, mute color of sand. But as the sun sets, they transform - first a light orange, then a deeper orange, and finally a near-red hue just before the sun dips below the horizon.
