Golden-Eye Family in the Cascades
While kayaking and fishing on Davis Lake in Oregon, I came across a family of Golden-eye ducks (mother and brood). It was a very windy day in the Cascades and these ducks were staying close to the shoreline eating mosquitoes and avoiding the wind.
