Golden Grain

A striking high-contrast landscape from Tây Nguyên (Central Highlands), Vietnam. The image focuses on the vital crop of rice (paddy), showing the golden, ripe grain ready for harvest in the foreground and stretching into the distance. The composition is defined by the contrast between the life-sustaining crop—an important foundation for Vietnamese life and livelihood—and the dramatic, dark, cloudy sky and lush green mountains towering behind. The close-up view of the rice stalks in the foreground provides an intimate, tactile connection to the harvest.
