Golden Monkey standing on bamboo.

Payment from tourists help buy roofs for houses, schools, and shoes for Rwandan citizens. It also helps preserve habitat and employ locals so they don't have to farm habitat or poach. Trackers keep track of primate groups and use radios to help the tourist's guides come quickly to the primates each day. This group is used to humans so it was easy to walk among them. These monkeys were near the ground looking for bamboo starts to eat.
