A large scale artwork was commissioned to commemorate the Golden Spike and the unifying of the railroad, it toured the United States and on October 23rd visited the Utah State Capitol. The spike will continue to tour the West Coast and will ultimately be installed in Northern Utah, where the original golden spike was driven into the ground.
