Golden Vigilance
A rare moment as the sun set behind the mountain with just enough clouds and light, I was now prepared for a second chance. Needless to say I missed this shoot the first time she stood. but with the scent of warning in the air, mother and cub rise on hind legs, silhouetted against the void. Rim lighting traces their powerful forms as the young bear mirrors its parent—an early lesson in strength, vigilance, and the watchful stance of survival.
