This large male Alaskan Brown Bear waited patiently at the edge of the falls for the spawning salmon to make their leap of faith up and through the current. Although it's apparent from his drastic scarring he's been in some major battles before, this year's salmon run was so far uneventful and last year's wounds have healed nicely.
