While photographing this famous buildings for my ‘ City pattern' serie I realized that there must be something, strictly in common between different Dutch cities situated in a far distance, from each other. However they are clearly npot the same but I still could feel the Dutch vibes almost in every visited corner. Then I understand that just as, we humans, have own unique DNA containing our unique genetic information, also each city is built according to its own unique pattern. A pattern impossible to decipher anywhere else, where an attempt to duplicate it would end up in mutating something unique that cannot be transferred to another place on earth with a different latitude. I believe each city have its own unique pattern and I hope my work: ‘Gone with the Smoke’ is a proof of it.
