The photo was taken by a tour guide at a place I visited in Mwanza Tanzania in December 2022. Just as I was about leave baby horse Mia, she leaned in and said her farewell. When I arrived in the stable, baby horse Mia seemed a bit resistant and uncomfortable around me, but with time, I think our connection grew. When the time came to part our ways, I could sense the sadness within us both. This reminds me of human connections we have with beautiful people we meet shortly and connect instantly, we know for a fact a time will come to part ways, it is then when goodbye becomes the saddest word. My life motto since then has been; Live as if you were to die the next minute. Love as if you are to live forever :-)
