While wandering away from the major central spots of Venice, my boyfriend and I couldn't find our way back to something recognizable. By accidentally putting ourselves out of our comfort zone, I started seeing a different Venice, a less picturesque Venice. The signs pointing in opposite directions reading the same landmark poignantly, or ironically, symbolize our plight.
