Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

The Lowers Fall in Yellowstone National Park entering to the grand canyon. Over the period of time, the Yellowstone River has been gradually eroding away the rhyolite rock, creating this canyon. Rhyolite is a volcanic rock and this is what gives the canyon its yellow appearance.
