Grand Prismatic Hot Spring, Yellowstone
The photo is a panoramic image of the grand prismatic hot spring in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The hot spring is a result of magmatic activity beneath the park. The coloration of the hot spring is due to various algal mats that thrive in different temperature regimes. I feel that everyone should have the opportunity to visit such places to witness the wonders and beauty that nature can provide.
