The summer of 2019, my family and I traveled to Atlin, BC, to scatter my grandfather's ashes. He had grown up there, and visited many times in the years since he'd moved away. Like his father before him, who we had laid to rest 14 years prior, we returned him to the place he loved so that he would always be a part of it.
