One of the many ways in which the Covid-19 pandemic devastated the world was by separating people from their loved ones. This forced separation, occasioned by various lockdowns, created a deeper appreciation for interactions with loved ones. Taken in 2020 (during a brief period when travel restrictions were relaxed), this photo captures the first time a grandfather was able to meet and hold his grandchild in his arms.
