Grandfather Mountain Mystery
Grandfather Mountain, perhaps the most Rocky Mountain-looking peak on the Blue Ridge of the Appalachian Mountains, constantly changes its look, day by day. It has an amazing ability to snag clouds as they roll by and to create its own weather at any given time. If a photographer reads the weather above and around him or her, and watches Grandfather Mountain on a regular basis, sooner or later wonderful shots like this will happen.
