This photo captures the youngest with the oldest generation in my family here in Indiana. Captured after a small gathering of 6 including myself for our grandmother's 83rd birthday due to the risk of COVID. With the health of our grandparents declining at a more noticeable rate along with other dangers such as Asian hate crimes against the elderly and COVID, I was urged by my mother to take a picture of all the children with our grandparents. This was our first family photo of the year in 2021. The photo was taken as a keepsake for the fear of not knowing what the future has in store for us all as a family that is slowly drifting apart, either by college, moving out, growing up, bad relations, or death. In the photograph from left to right is my brother, grandparents, and my two cousins.
