This is a composite of two pictures of the same brown grasshopper. I had hung some clothing over the hook of of an extension ladder to air out in the sun, when about an hour later this crafty grasshopper decided it was a perfect place to snuggle down in the soft material. I ran in the house to get my camera, and it allowed me to shoot a few pictures from the bottom edge of the pink cloth where I first encountered him until he made his climb to the top of it. I used photo shop where I adjusted the two pictures so that they would fit together as a composite. There are always two sides to fit the story. The conclusion of the story is that the grasshopper didn't over stay its visit and found another place to settle down and call his home:-)
